About Hanya Healthcare

We are a nurse -led service with a special interest in wound and skin healing, headed by Advanced Nurse Practitioners who can autonomously examine, treat, prescribe and refer/discharge patients as needed.

​We're CQC registered to offer treatment of disease, disorder and injury to Private and some NHS patients with a focus on consistent and timely care that is holistic, inclusive, effective, empathetic, innovative, and safe.

Our Story

Having cared for patients with wounds and skin conditions for a long time, we understand the devastating consequences wounds can have on individual’s quality of life.

We know that due to increased demand on GP appointments, Accident and Emergency and Urgent Care/Walk In services, some patients with wound, skin or joint complaints are having to wait longer for treatment resulting in prolonged pain, increased social stress, isolation, reduced mobility , worsening of condition and decreased mental health well-being.

We want to impact people’s lives by doing what we love, and we believe strongly that patients are more than clients but have a powerful loud voice that echoes their experience to build a picture of what we stand for as a service.

Because we are a specialist clinic, we have advanced training and skills in healing of wounds and our story is founded on passion, soul, care, accountability, sincerity, adaptability, restoration and above all YOU.

The name Hanya in Shona means extreme care or concern which is the foundation of our company culture and ethos and although we may not always get it right, we will listen to our patient’s voice to do the best we can to improve our service, offer choices, admit when we are wrong, provide clarity/feedback and use any reviews negative or positive to improve and grow.
